RFID: It Can Change Everything, If You Do It Right.

RFID is important. It can transform your business. If you do it right.

Traditional RFID software can be very useful if used for its specific purpose. When this software is forced into performing other tasks (loaner management, product requesting, par management, etc.) that is where some of the desired efficiencies lose their power.

If your RFID hardware is not directly integrated with your Field Ops and Sales Tool, you are missing out on huge potential for both time savings and cost savings. Reducing manual effort is the focus of RFID, yet using multiple software tools to manage something that should be unified defeats that purpose.

When the field operations tool (loaners, consignment, trunk stock, WMS, etc.) is working hand-in-hand with your RFID hardware everyone can finally be on the same page.

Rather than having to integrate and update multiple systems, the tool that drives the actions can also be used to control full inventory receiving capabilities as well. This reduced extra effort eliminates errors and promotes action. When there are less chances for mistakes, you get cleaner data and tremendous cost savings.

A good RFID system can be worth its weight in gold, a fully integrated medical device specific operations and sales platform is priceless.

When RFID is integrated the right way: errors will decrease and asset utilization will increase.

A complete field ops & sales tool should be able to/have:

  • RFID Integration (Hardware or Software)
  • Full ERP Integration (SAP, Oracle, Etc.)
  • CRM/EMR Connections
  • Directed Picking & Put-away
  • Surgery Scheduling (+ Calendar)
  • Active Order Visibility
